Sue incorporated the design of my dress on the cake decoration and worked with me to make sure it met my vision. We had to postpone our wedding due to covid and sue made it so easy; she we I do not have enough great things to say about Le Gateau and Sue Larson. Le Gateau was one of the only bakeries we found in Columb At our tasting, Sue gave us a number of cake and frosting samples to try, explaining the differences between each.

This made me feel well informed and helped us to better decide our preferences. On our wedding day, our cake looked just as we had designed it, and was one of the most delicious desserts I've ever had! Not to mention, Sue herself took the time to drive the cake up to the venue and decorate it with the fresh flowers we ordered. We got so many compliments! I would highly recommend this bakery to everyone, especially those with nut allergies. Sue was more than accommodating when it came to our request and vision for our wedding cake.

Both with wild berry buttercream icing. The flavors were amazing and did not taste ridiculously sweet as we've come to know American cakes to be. Sue was not only able to accommodate our requests but she also provided us with expert advice regarding the design and flavor pairings. Sue was prompt to respond to any calls and answered all the questions that we had throughout the entire wedding cake selection process.

On the day of the wedding, the cake arrived on time and it looked great. The taste was out of this world. The flavors were natural with no artificial tastes.

Truly, the fresh raspberries brought everything together. We had many guests come up to us after the wedding to compliment the cake and ask who was the mastermind behind it.

Our caterer did not leave us the anniversary cake the top tier of the wedding cake and as soon as Sue heard about this, she immediately offered to give us a small replacement so that we can enjoy cake for our first year anniversary.

My biggest regret is that I didn't get off the dance floor long enough to get a slice during the actual wedding! I found Sue online, after trying a few other vendors and being disappointed in their gluten free offerings both myself and my mom are gluten free. My husband and I went to a tasting in Sue's kitchen, and were so impressed with her gluten free Sue delivered the cake herself on the day of the wedding and applied some extra fresh flowers to it. Sue's cakes are not only incredibly delicious but also so artistically creative. She made a 2 sided cake for our daughter's wedding. One side was very traditional and made to look like her wedding dress. The other side h She made 15 to 20 orange lily sugar flowers to place on and around the cake.

Then she made an ice cream cake for the grooms cake! I definitely recommend her Red Velvet and Spice cake. We also had Chocolate and Lemon that were amazing. We can't say enough about her and her incredible cake! I found this Eiffel tower cake and she made it just the way I wanted. Sue is very personable. I met her first time and knew I wanted her to make my cake.
