It turns out the 'most popular' items on the menu were a ravioli dish and the brussels sprouts. Potstickers, yes. Ravioli, most definitely no. The brussels sprouts were the combination of burned to a crisp and extremely greasy at the same time. Great ambiance, really likeable waiter but overall not a great culinary experience.

This is a lovely restaurant. The portions are small but very tasty. The dessert sampler was unbelievable. The only issue we had was that we had to ask for water twice. Same for the table next to us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. One of our favorite dining places in Frederick. Maybe the best restaurant in Frederick. We've been to many of the others and decided to try this one a whim.

Outstanding food, exceptional wait staff. The food was so delicious. It is one the best restaurants in Frederick! The service was excellent. The dessert was also delicious. We definitely will go back there hopefully soon! My boyfriend and I traveled an hour to go back to this restaurant that we visited previously with family. It is very affordable as plates are shareable but delicious and properly proportioned for each person to order one entree.

The saganaki cheese is most delicious cheese appetizer if you are a cheese fan like we are. Our family enjoyed the communal feel of sharing dishes. The server made wonderful recommendations and everything was promptly served, even though the place was packed! Ayse Meze blows away its Frederick competition. The food is terrific, the service outstanding and the price quite reasonable.

They don't rush you here and they don't bombard you with all your dishes at once. They are way above those on Market Street. Come here. I found this place searching online. Such a great find!

The food was great and a perfect spot for a first date. It was during the week and cold out, so there were not that many people in the restaurant besides at the bar and a few scattered throughout having a nice dinner. We sat near the bar by the fireplace The staff were all very attentive and explained all the dishes to use since we were unfamiliar with the cuisine.

The live band cancelled for the night but it was okay, I think it probably would have taken away from the ambience for a first date. I would recommend this Had the "spread sampler" and the following tapas: moussaka, falafel, calamari, spanakotyropita and the beef and lamb meatballs Another great meal at Ayse. Chef Ric again went out of his ways to showcase his skills and culinary talents with some great specials. I started off with boneless thigh of Greek pheasant stewed in a wine and carrot sauce served over rice pilaf.

Although I've had pheasant many, many times. Never like this. The dish was very creative. The next dish was a venison stew served over red cabbage. Again a very unique way of serving a classic dish. My last dish was a locally sourced rabbit Shepard pie. Again very unique and creative. As always, the service and the professional staff was wonderful. They always treat us like family. That's why we eat there weekly unless we are out of town.

Mary, the general manger, makes sure that everything is excellent, and of course, or regular waiter , Sedat was suberb as always. The food is always terrific; service is always prompt, responsive, courteous.

I think best restaurant in Frederick MD. Attempting to give us spoiled shrimp as if they were fresh. As soon as the shrimp were placed on the table the over whelming smell gagged me.

There was no attempt to correct the problem. Simply sent back out the two bland skewers that were on the platter with the shrimp and a vegetable skewer was later sent out to replace the shrimp. There was no accommodating for the spoil shellfish on the bill or anything. Our meal was very good and rhe service excellent.

The menu is diverse and we especially enjoyed several of the specials. Great food and a lively atmosphere. Have always enjoyed dinner or happy hours at this restaurant and have been coming here for years.

The tomato broth for the seafood dish was delicious, and the cigar sampler was tasty too. Definitely our favorite restaurant in Frederick!
