I've posted on other sites, so this is the "shorter version" Mom needed way more care than we were able to give, and we did NOT have pleasant experiences at a couple other facilities. But SP was terrific from day one. Clean and comfy rooms, tasty and varied meals, and a honestly caring staff from the director right down through the ranks, everybody there seemed to know and take personal interest in Mom. She could "get a bit testy" at times, but they calmly and tenderly showed her respect, and managed to cheer her up.

In her final days, they cared for her with a tenderness that defies explanation. They provided activities, physical therapy, amazing medical care, and above all, they loved her as though she were part of THEIR families. I can't thank them enough for making the most difficult part of Mom's life as easy as it could possibly be.
